The best animated movies of all time, to collect

Hand-drawn, stop-motion or computer-made: animation is a technique before it is a genre. It brings together American, Japanese and European studios, for every age. Its best cards are often among the most widely seen and translated films in the catalog.

Reelics holds 1,950 animated movies, from 1892 to 2026, and every one of them is a card to collect. The Lion King (1994) leads the ranking, with a card at the Masterpiece level. At the top of the pyramid: 18 Masterpiece cards and 97 Must-See cards, only 5.9% of all animated movies. Now Showing cards, the easiest to pull, are only 59% of the total: cult classics weigh heavily here. The ranking follows our rarity score, which combines rating, vote count, the film’s reach on Wikipedia and its era: cult classics rise to the top. To gather these cards, open boosters: one free every 10 minutes, and the rarer a card, the less often it drops.
