Privacy policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This policy explains what data Reelics collects during the waitlist phase, why, and what your rights are. It will be expanded when the game opens (accounts, collection, Pro subscription).

Minimum age
Reelics is for people 18 and over. If we learn that a minor has signed up, we delete their data.
Data we collect and why

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
Your data is processed by the following providers, only to run the service:

When data is transferred outside the European Union, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Retention
- Unconfirmed signup: deleted after 30 days.
- Confirmed signup: kept until you create your account, or at the latest 6 months after the game launches. If you unsubscribe from emails, you no longer receive any, but your place in the queue is kept until that date. To delete your signup immediately, write to contact@reelics.app.
- IP address fingerprint: deleted after 30 days.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. Statistics are collected by Umami, without cookies and without identifying visitors. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical data strictly necessary for bot verification. No consent banner is therefore required.
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- access, correct or delete your data;
- withdraw your consent, including through the unsubscribe link in every email;
- object to processing or ask for it to be restricted;
- receive your data in a reusable format (portability).
Write to contact@reelics.app. We reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr/fr/plaintes, or with the authority of your country of residence.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and database access is restricted. IP addresses are never stored in plain text.
Changes
This policy will be updated when the game opens. If there is a significant change, we will notify you by email.
