Try to pull the popular movies: the Now Showing cards

The Now Showing tier is no bargain bin: it holds popular films, recent ones, or films much loved in their home country. These are the cards that start a collection and the ones people trade most readily.

The catalog gathers 15,695 popular movies, spanning 1874 to 2026. These cards make up 67% of the 23,417 movies in the catalog. Honor Society (2022) leads the ranking, with a card at the Now Showing level. The Now Showing tier is the base of the pyramid: about two films out of three, the cards that fill a film vault fastest. The ranking follows our rarity score, which combines rating, vote count, the film’s reach on Wikipedia and its era: cult classics rise to the top. Every booster holds 5 cards, one of them Recommended or better: it’s up to you to hunt down the rarest popular movies.
